Chris has a diploma in carpentry from Nova Scotia Community College and began his career with Rooftight in 2001. His passion for building homes and goal driven attitude propelled him to Project Manager shortly thereafter. He has a strong eye for detail and has earned the respect of our tradespeople through his management style.

Chris was promoted to General Manager in 2015 and now oversees every custom build. He holds many industry certifications and stays current on new building techniques and code changes through continuing education.

A native of Halifax, Michelle joined Rooftight in 2009. She is an inspiring leader with creative thinking that sets her apart from others in the building industry. Her innovation in design and marketing has spirited a new way of thinking and created a buzz among her clients who demand an exceptional experience with their purchase.

Michelle has a diploma in interior design and an innate sense of style that is always on the money. Her philosophy is simple - great design is never just about what you see...it's about what you feel. That's what gives a home soul.

Jimmy began his career in residential home construction after completing the carpentry program at NSCC in 1990. In 1995 he joined Rooftight. He has many industry certifications and is Rooftight's longest standing employee. No job ever too much to ask of Jimmy and his expertise and easy going personality ensure a great home building experience for our clients.

Rosemary joined Rooftight in 2016 and quickly became an integral part of the team as our Office Manager. A company with many moving parts needs an office that runs smoothly and her attention to detail, unmatched organizational skills and extensive customer service background are the perfect blend to allow her to handle everything that we can send her way. Her passion is doing whatever she can from her home base at the current Welcome Center to support the rest of the team on the job sites. Rosemary has more than 25 years experience in various administration, customer service and management fields in a variety of industries and she now brings those experiences to Rooftight.

Kris has been working in the carpentry field since his graduation from NSCC in 1995. He previously worked on many Rooftight homes as part of our finish carpentry team so when it came time to expand our Service Department in the Fall of 2020, Kris was a perfect fit. His excitement is contagious and his kind, friendly service helps our families enjoy their new home worry-free. Kris transitioned to the role of Project Manager in early 2022 and has truly been an asset to our Project Management team.

Mike has had a love of finish carpentry from a very young age. He started from the very beginning and, over the next 26 years, grew in skill and experience to be one of the most respected finish carpenters in Halifax and the leader of Rooftight’s premier finish carpentry team. So, when Rooftight was looking to add a new Service Coordinator in early 2022, Mike was the clear choice and has excelled in this area to include the role of Project Manager.

Mike truly believes in building not only outstanding homes by constantly asking himself, “Would this be acceptable in my own home?”, he also believes inbuilding strong relationships with our homeowners.
